Executive Chef Joel: The Best of the Best
Let us tell you about our incredible Chef Joel. First, you must know we are incredibly lucky to have someone of his caliber as Top Shelf’s full time Executive Chef.
He got his Bachelor’s degree in the Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University and hit the ground running. He helped create culinary programs at countless restaurants and has designed the menus for big names like Coqueta and Bellota in San Francisco.
After making his mark in coastal California, Chef Joel joined the team at Absinthe Brasserie & Bar as Executive Chef. He sourced fresh, seasonal ingredients and crafted amazing French-Mediterranean fusion recipes, in addition to designing custom dishes for local events.
Chef Joel’s talents have taken him on a wild ride, including stints as Executive Chef at some of the hottest restaurants on the west coast. And now? He’s taken his show on the water as a chef on a yacht with Top Shelf!
