Two years ago, we carefully chose to dock our new 80 foot motor yacht at Shelter Cove Marina.
We are originally from the Massachusetts area, but we’ve been traveling to HHI for decades. It was a natural fit for us to bring the boat here.
It was not our intention to charter the boat, yet we quickly made friends with our new neighbors and passers-by alike who asked if we offered cruises. When it became apparent that there were not private charters within driving distance, it seemed like an obvious next step for us.
In 2021 we hired a full time crew and began training to offer this area and its visitors authentic Caribbean-style luxury yacht charters.
Since then, we’ve hosted over 100 groups, seen proposals, marriages, anniversary celebrations, first birthdays, corporate groups, golf groups and every other kind of charter you can imagine.
Here is one thing we always knew: Hilton Head is a boaters’ paradise.
And here’s something we only learned over the last two years: Hilton Head needs more luxurious experiences.
